The dimmer works according to the principle of PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation), which is a modulation technique in which pulses are emitted with a fixed frequency whose width is varied.

Inside is an adjustable potentiometer that can be used to set the minimum dimming position. The dimmer has a soft start in order to favorably influence the service life of the LED lamps used. Dimming range in the low range up to 0.1%. Standby consumes only 0.3 watts.
