This is the latest version of the 12V LED floor dimmer.
The dimmer works according to the principle of PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation), which is a modulation technique in which pulses are emitted with a fixed frequency whose width is varied.
The advantages of PWM dimming technology are:
smooth dimming functions;
more accurate output levels;
better color consistency between the different layers.
Thanks to this modulation technique, this dimmer is very suitable for dimming LEDs.
The light can be dimmed using a slide switch. In addition, the lamp can be switched off 100% when the slider is set to the minimum dimming position (using the built-in switch). Inside is an adjustable potentiometer that can be used to set the minimum dimming position. The dimmer has a soft start in order to favorably influence the service life of the LED lamps used. Dimming range in the low range up to 0.1%. Standby consumes only 0.3 watts.
